1. What are the improvements to the new CENTURY 21® Website Builder over the previous CENTURY 21® Website Builder Wizard?

  • Feedback about properties and requests for more information about properties are automatically sent to you and can be automatically sent to your LeadRouterSM e-mail address. Free home value estimation and "List My Property" requests are also automatically emailed to you.
  • Moving Checklist, Home Planner, Affordability Calculator, Mortgage Calculator and Packing Tips pages are there and already written for you.

2. How do I upgrade to the new tool from my existing 21Online Website Builder Wizard Website that was created with a previous version?
  • It's easy! Log into your 21Online.com account and then from the Quick Links drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner, choose "Website Builder."
  • Locate the "Convert your existing Website to the latest version" link.
  • Follow the steps on the order form for creating your new account.
  • Copy & paste your text and pictures across to your new account. Detailed migration information is included in the Appendix section of the new Website Builder User Manual located under the Help tab within the tool itself.
3. I had previously built a Website using the Website Builder Wizard, but I do not host my site through BroadSpire®. Can I still edit my site and for how long? What are my options? What are the costs?
  • You can edit your site until 7/31/08 - after which point it will be removed from 21 online.
  • It makes most sense for you to upgrade to the new tool sooner rather than later. Detailed migration information is included in the Appendix section of the new Website Builder User Manual located under the Help tab within the tool itself.
  • The cost is a one time set up fee of $50 and a recurring monthly subscription fee of $19.95. Your new domain name and unlimited property Websites are included.
  • Starting July 7, 2008, get free test drive for a month if you are one of the first 2100 agents to get online. Free set up fee and free first month’s subscription fee.
  • You can choose to subscribe for 1, 6 or 12 months. If you buy 6 months you receive 4% off the total price, and if you buy12 months you receive 10% off.

6. How do I transfer (during registration) a URL?
  • If you have requested us to register a .com, .net or .org domain name on your behalf, your domain name should become active on the Internet 2 to 4 days with most domains being available within 48 hours. No further action is required. Your newly registered domain must remain with the initial registrar for a minimum of 60 days. This is a regulation set forth by ICANN (the organization that monitors and regulates domain names).
7. What are the size guidelines for document and image sizes I want to add to my page?
  • There aren't any limitations on the file sizes or video sizes, but we suggest a maximum video files size of 100 MB. Images are advisable to be within 100 KB.
8. What file formats can I upload?
  • The following files can be uploaded:
    Images: gif, jpg, pjpeg, pgif, pbmp, x-png, bmp
    Videos: avi, mpeg, quicktime (mov),x-msvideo, asf, wmv, swf
    Audio: mp3, mpeg

10. Do agents or brokers have to use BroadSpire® to host websites built with the New CENTURY 21® Website Builder tool?
  • Yes, users must use BroadSpire® hosting with the new CENTURY 21® Website Builder tool, due to the automatic CREST and 21Online data flows back and forth to their Website. This data exchange is a large part of the value of using the new tool. It should also be pointed out that users can sign up for different hosting increments (i.e., 12 months, etc.). The longer the hosting period they sign up for, the greater the discount they receive off the monthly hosting fees with BroadSpire®.
  • System Members are not required to use the CENTURY 21® Website Builder tool for their websites, however, it is a great option for users who wish to easily and affordably create a modern, brand compliant Website for their business.
11. How does CENTURY 21® Website Builder differ from the CENTURY 21® IDX Aggregation Initiative?
  • The CENTURY 21® Website Builder tool is separate from the CENTURY 21® IDX Aggregation Initiative scheduled for the summer of 2008.
  • CENTURY 21® Website Builder is a newly created agent tool that replaces the original Website Builder Wizard available on 21Online. The tool is targeted at CENTURY 21® Agents and Brokers interested in developing their own Website and web presence.
  • The CENTURY 21® IDX Aggregation Initiative will automatically provide a free basic Website that will extend from Century21.com for offices that have signed up. These IDX sites will have limited flexibility and customization options available. For additional information on the CENTURY 21® IDX Aggregation Initiative agents should speak with their brokers. Responsible Brokers can visit 21Online.com and navigate through the Business Development Tab > Management Tools and then under "Other Programs/Tools", select "IDX".
  • Brokers/offices who wish to create a more customized Web site than provided by the CENTURY 21® IDX solutions can utilize the CENTURY 21® Website Builder tool to build their office Websites.
12. How do I add an Individual Property Website to my account?
  • Log into your 21Online.com account and then from the Quick Links drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner, choose "Website Builder."
  • From the dashboard, click the link, "Click here to build a Website for one of your listings"
  • Choose the address of a property in your listings that you would like to showcase with a unique Website address.
  • If you have already registered a domain name that you would like to transfer to BroadSpire®, you can type in that domain to request that we transfer your registration. Otherwise, you are able to search for an unregistered domain name, and register it with us for $15 per year.
  • After you have checked out, you are able to log into your account. Click on the domain name of the site you've added to publish and optionally customize your individual property Website.
  • Please allow 1-2 business days after registering a new property Website for the first time before you can see it on the internet
13. Can I set up a generic URL for my Individual Property Websites? How do I transfer it?
  • Yes, you can. Simply call BroadSpire's technical support at 1-888-262-6161 and request to have the domain name freed and manually transferred over to your new property site.

15. What is your refund policy?
  • When you purchase the BroadSpire WebWrite™ service at normal retail rates you are eligible for our 30 day money back guarantee. Plans ordered under a promotion or special pricing are not covered under our guarantee.
  • If you are not completely satisfied with our WebWrite™ service within the refund time period, you will be given a full refund of prepaid hosting fees, minus our standard $50 account activation fee and any promotional discounts. Domain registration fees (if it is in Broadspire's registry) are non-refundable. Once registered, your domain name becomes your property and it can be transferred or used as you wish with another vendor, or if you decide to create another site with BroadSpire.
  • Due to the automated nature of the order process, all orders are billed and set-up immediately when you press the "Purchase" button on the Order Form. While we will make every effort to accommodate post-order requests (such as to obtain a different domain name, different renewal terms, etc.), BroadSpire does not guarantee that changes to the original order can be accommodated once you have placed your order to our system.

16. What is your refund policy for renewals?
  • All WebWrite™ accounts are set up for automatic renewal via credit card for your convenience. Approximately two weeks prior to the end of a renewal term you will be sent via e-mail a renewal invoice listing the new service term covered, due date for the invoice, and final four digits of the credit card currently on file for your account. Barring any contrary requests from you prior to that listed due date, the card on file will be used to process the renewal invoice, so you need to do nothing further to continue your service with us.
  • Cancel requests sent prior to the due date on a renewal invoice will cancel the account at the end of the current term without further charges to you. Cancel requests sent after the due date on a renewal invoice will not qualify for a refund.
  • Please note that any violation of our accepted use policy [http://www.broadspire.com/broadspire/aup] immediately disqualifies an account from receiving a refund of any type.
17. What are your terms & policy for a free trial/test drive for a month promotion?
  • For those Clients who sign up under a free trial, approximately two weeks prior to the end of your free 30 day trial you will receive a renewal invoice for continued service. For your convenience we will automatically bill your card to continue your service if you do not cancel within 20 days of placing your free trial order (you will still receive your full 30 days free even if you cancel). If you cancel during the free trial period, you will have the option to purchase the domain name at then-current rates or release the domain name to BroadSpire.
