Add and remove email accounts
Adding and removing e-mail addresses at your domain name is easy with the BroadSpire. control panel.
Just follow these simple instructions.
Step 1: Log onto your control panel at https://c21.broadspire.com/

You can either log into your master account or the domain account for the website you are administering.
Please see your setup info e-mail from sales for the username and password you are to use.
Step 2: Click the .Mail Settings. icon in your control panel.s main menu.

Step 3: Click .Mailboxes (POP/IMAP Accounts). from the Mail Settings menu.

On the .Mailboxes. screen, you will see any existing e-mail addresses you have.
The padlock icon under the .P. can be clicked to change the password of that e-mail address and the red
X below the .D. can be clicked to delete it.

Step 4: Add the e-mail address by typing in the user name by itself (without the @ sign or the domain name) in the .Mailbox Name. box and then type in the password in the Password box (the password will not be shown to you, so please type carefully). Then click add. The account will appear underneath the .Email Address. bar on the same screen. Accounts added are effective immediately.

To begin using your newly added e-mail address, be sure to have your e-mail software (such as Outlook Express, Eudora, or Outlook) configured to use the following settings.
For example, if you just added the e-mail address: john@mydomain.com, your settings would be as follows:
-
Incoming (POP3) mail server hostname: mydomain.com
-
Outgoing (SMTP) mail server hostname: mydomain.com

*POP3 and SMTP login username: john@mydomain.com
The POP3 and SMTP login Password will be the same.
Be sure to turn on SMTP Authentication in your email client as shown below.

*Microsoft Outlook calls the POP3 login username the "Account Name."
For step by step instructions on how to add these settings into your e-mail software.s configuration, please review the documentation supplied by your software vendor that accompanied the product. For Windows users, this often available by pressing F1 or clicking on the Help pull-down menu of your e-mail application and is similarly located for Apple Macintosh programs.
